MEET JAN
Jan has helped thousands of learners and hundreds of businesses
achieve success. She is a National Speakers Association SP® (Certified
Speaking Professional™), the speaking profession’s highest earned
professional designation. Less than 12 percent of the 5,000+ speakers
worldwide, who belong to the 14 member associations of the Global
Speakers Federation, currently hold this professional designation.
Jan is the very definition of a ‘self-starter’ and brings real world experience to her keynotes, training and coaching. An airline industry superstar, she rose from the ramp support team to the ticket counter to flight attendant to instructor, training more than 20,000 flight attendants.
Jan later became a member of the American Airlines Performance Solutions Team, speaking on leadership, self-esteem, life balance, stress reduction, and exceptional customer service throughout the United States, as well as in South Korea, Japan, Guam, Australia, Turkey, Italy and India.
Since leaving the airline industry, Jan has conducted training for a wide variety of Fortune 500 companies, small businesses, schools, colleges, women’s organisations, library systems, prisons and associations.
She has trained with and assists Chicken Soup for the Soul author Jack Canfield with his hugely popular self-esteem and success seminars.
Jan is also the author of several best-selling books, The Book on Gratitude. The Book on Joy, The Book on Transformation, The Success University for Woman series of books, Ordinary Women…Extraordinary Success, Keeping Customers for Life, and You’re Never Too Old To Dream Dare Dance! Jan is someone who not only talks the talk but also walks the walk. She has completed several 39-mile Avon Walks for Breast Cancer and raised funds for cancer care in Bermuda. She has also been honoured with a Bermuda Community Service Award. Married, with two daughters, one stepson, seven grandchildren, and two great grandchildren, Jan lives in Bermuda and Lake Las Vegas.
